They have made an effort in advertising to position quality as their competitive advantage over DFS rather than price. However, buying massive furniture online is more than just a pure-play activity. The largest private furniture chain in the UK, Furniture, was founded in 1989 by two friends with the vision of providing top-notch furniture at competitive prices, backed by excellent customer care. It currently operates 54 physical locations around the nation, in addition to an online store that it switched over to a Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform before the COVID outbreak.
