Rosie Ramsey
Chris and Rosie Ramsey exchanged vows at Newcastle’s Jesmond Dene House in July 2014. Rosie looked stunning in a white fishtail gown, and Chris looked dapper in a tweed suit as they shook hands after saying their vows in a sweet wedding video posted on YouTube. When asked how Chris proposed, Rosie recalled, “It was so simple yet excellent. He asked me to get him a cup of tea from the kitchen while he adorned the living room with candles. We watched a movie in our pyjamas the day he got home. To deliver the good news to our parents, we headed to their house a half-hour later.
Rosie and Chris have a son named Robin, whom they welcomed in 2015. The couple frequently posts adorable pictures of the 4-year-old on Instagram. Chris previously admitted that taking part in the show allowed him to stay in his hometown rather than travel, which allowed him to spend more time with the child. Someone will travel up to South Shields, a poor dancer! I might travel to Newcastle to meet them there. They shouldn’t have to go to South Shields, in my opinion. Not much is available for them.”
Biography
The Sarah Cox show, Alan Carr’s Epic Game Show, Married to a Celebrity: A Survival Guide, and Parenting for Idiots featured Rosie as a presenter, actor, author, and radio broadcaster. Additionally, she co-hosted Capital Radio’s North East drive-time program.
He frequently serves as a guest host on The One Show, and in 2020 he presented Little Mix: The Search. Additionally, he is well-known for his Comedy Central program, The Chris Ramsey Show, Chris Rosie Ramsey, Stand Up Central, and the panel discussion program Virtually Famous on E4. He participated in season 13 of Strictly Come Dancing in 2019, placing fourth, and is now a contestant.
Rosie Ramsey Robin
Rosie Ramsey just shared a photo of her C-section delivery of Robin and has been incredibly open about it. The blood on the floor is due to my hematoma that burst. Chris made an excellent reference to this in one of his stand-up routines, and it was at that point I had to wonder.
Sadly, in 2018, Rosie miscarried their second child at 12 weeks of pregnancy. Rosie wrote about the devastating news in a social media post: “Our baby was not identified during the 12-week ultrasound that we had. A blighted ovum is one that went away early in the pregnancy and left the pregnancy sac behind. The missed miscarriage I feel physically and emotionally worn out, but I know it will take time to process everything. I’m very sorry for other couples who have been or are going through this; I had no idea it would cause such grief. We are so grateful to have Robin in our lives since he has been fantastic throughout everything.”

Chris has expressed his wife’s support for him throughout the competition, and she has previously made jokes about helping him do the problematic lifts while at a wedding. As he spoke with Metro, he clarified: “We did it at a wedding right before my name was called, and I threw her to the ground. Laying flat in the midst of a wedding. She attempted to make a backdrop, and we do one in the first song, but she hit her head off the floor. “What the hell’s got into these two?” everyone at the wedding exclaimed.”
Dance Experience
Rosie had prior dance experience, and Chris made fun of the fact that Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Bruno Tonioli would also evaluate his performances. He stated: “I’m at a disadvantage because after the judges evaluate me that evening, she will call me and say, “Well, I watched, and your face was a disgrace. When I enter the room, I might even buy some paddles!”
Rosie currently collaborates with Chris on a weekly podcast, and she also manages the Instagram account @rosemarinoramsey. She is well-known for her amusing antics on social media, and after Chris advanced to the semifinals, she reacted by creating a face that received 47k likes. She has previously appeared on Parenting for Idiots and Married to a Celebrity: A Survival Guide. Also shared hosting duties for Capital Radio’s North East drive-time program. Pop musician Ed Sheeran and she have performed together on stage.
Final Thoughts
I should thank Rosie at this point because it was entirely her idea. They decided that doing a Facebook Live would be an excellent way to promote my own Comedy Central program. Rosie is currently enjoying a glass of wine while I’m filming these films in my home. She starts laughing and mocking the first week, but by the third week, she’s on with us, and the audience adores her.
